  • Work closely with Commercial Loan Officer and business loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial conditions.
  • Analyze current financial position of customers to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
  • Assist in structuring credit to appropriately minimize risk
  • Analyze collateral quality for commercial loans
  • Prepare loan presentation packages to be reviewed approving authorities
  • Make decisions to approve, decline or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision
  • Stay informed of current trends in business credits
  • Other duties as assigned


About You


  •  Three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.



Mathematical skills: Ability to apply accounting, scheduling and budgeting, measurement and calculation
math skills associated with lending activities for purposes of data analysis. Comfortable working with a
variety of lending formulas and industry specific equations and formulas with accuracy.


Analytical Thinking: Develop feasible solutions based on logical and reasonable assumptions and factual
observation that reflect consideration for resources, constraints, Bank values and goals. Understand
cause and effect relationships, recognize similarities and differences in situations, and apply knowledge to
help make effective decisions or to come up with new ways to accomplish a task. Define an end result,
set or follow a course of action to achieve it, anticipate potential obstacles, and monitor progress to achieve desired result.


WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds periodically.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
