About the Role

Come join our team! First Community Bank Utah is seeking a Teller/Universal Banker at our Layton Hills Branch (1601 N. Hillfield Rd). The successful candidate will be the “front-line” of our bank and will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. Previous cash handling experience and excellent customer service skills is desirable. You must be comfortable making dozens of transactions daily, communicate with different types of clients and sell bank’s products/services. Scheduled hours are Monday 10AM-5:30PM, Wednesday & Friday 12-5:30PM & Saturday 9:00AM - Noon.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct dozens of routine transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals, etc.)
  • Assess customer needs and introduce new products and services
  • Make sales referrals and cross-sell products and services
  • Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
  • Resolve customers’ issues and provide relevant information

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Prior cash handling a plus

Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
