About the Role

Provide clerical and administrative support in loan servicing. Assist in establishing and maintaining loan information on system, apply payments, and monitor progress and pay-off of those loans. Perform file maintenance of appropriate information. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Process consumer loan payment documents. Complete payment reversals as requested. Complete new and paid-off loan logs (dual control). Perform routine daily filing (notes, change in terms, etc.). Monitor and respond to department emails pertaining to assigned tasks. Calculate pay-offs for customers using departmental guidelines.
Board new consumer loans by inputting set-up information into the computer system, using departmental upload procedures; enter variables when necessary. Process consumer change in terms. Set up information for new loans on the computer, entering variables specific to the type of loan. Scan documents into Synergy.
Assist customers and/or co-workers in determining appropriate application of payments. Assist personnel from other departments by answering questions involving loan interaction with other product lines. Assist co-workers in department, other departments and other division banks by serving as a resource on data processing questions and problems, and loan processing and participations. Provide backup data entry to other personnel. Assist with special projects when needed.
May perform all or some of the following duties, as assigned by supervisor: Research documents and other materials in order to assist customers by providing historical information for tax purposes, bookkeeping purposes, and general information. Input data into tax monitoring site for new loans. Review co-worker entries to daily file maintenance report in order to provide dual control and ensure information is correct.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in shared climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise.

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting/moving of up to 10 lbs.
Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
