About the Role

Summary

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  1. TECHNICAL DUTIES
  2. Responsible for customer file preparation including the loan file order and completion of the checklist.
  3. Responsible for collateral tracking including entering the information and required follow-up.
  4. Responsible for various correspondence including insurance letters and any other required correspondence.
  5. Miscellaneous filing.
  6. Answers phones and directs customers to appropriate bank resource to answer questions.
  7. Exhibit knowledge of various forms and manuals associated with the position.
  8. Exhibit proficiency on equipment and job-required software including Citrix, Windows 2000, Silverlake, Vertex, Laser Pro and Decision Pro.
  9. Responsible for ticketing loans, general ledger and deposits.
  10. Processes paid notes and updates history.
  11. Responsible for Lien releases/reconveyances including vehicle, UCC, Deed of Trust and Mortgage.
  12. Scanning All Loan Documents including Loan Denials/Withdrawns.
  13. Help support HUB Department.

 

  1. CUSTOMER RELATIONS
  2. Responsible for modeling the behaviors that make a customer feel valued when using WSB services in person or over the phone.

  4. Research account information for customers and demonstrate that you are interested in their business.

  1. MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES
  2. Answer incoming, direct calls, and take mail.
  1. Actively participates in WSB continuing education
  2. Know and be able to use “Robbery Procedures”.
  3. Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of customer relations in the success of the organization. Models appropriate behavior that supports the importance of customers through mastery of technical skills and  a dedication to high performance
  4. Completes all assigned BVS Courses.
  5. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  1. Education and Experience:
    1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    2. Three to six months related experience and/or training preferred.
    3. Equivalent combination of education and experience

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:  

  1. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    1. Ability to read and understand simple Notes.
    2. Knowledge of and ability to understand all loan codes.
    3. Working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
    4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    5. Ability to use listed tools and equipment.
    6. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
    7. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    8. Ability to establish and maintain effective personal working relationships with peers and supervisors.
    9. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
    10. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
    11. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
    12. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
