About the Role

We are seeking a self motivated individual to prepare loans for closing (commercial, construction, consumer), which includes creating loan files with necessary documents.




    • Order title, plat map, title fees and payoffs
    • Order appraisal through internal ordering system
    • Order credit (consumer/TRID loans)
    • Order flood certification
    • Order evidence of insurance
    • Converting builder’s budgets to FCB cost breakdown
    • Request long term application, AUS and pre-qualification letter for pre-sold residential commercial loans
    • Request loan term qualifying information from borrower(s) on consumer loans (i.e. paystubs, W2’s, tax returns, bank statements, long term loan application, AUS and pre-qualification letter)
    • Prepare and send to borrower Regulation B letter within 3 days of receiving application
    • Coordinate closings with customers, builder’s and title companies
    • Preparing Loan Presentation and review for accuracy
    • Complete closing checklist and loan documentation checklist
    • Review all closing docs for accurate signature(s) and notary stamp and signature
    • Book loan after closing (file signed docs in the file)
    • Disburse/wire funds to when loan requires
    • Complete checklist to ensure file completion
    • Respond to customer/builder inquiries, answer any questions and resolve customer/builder issues
    • Complete FDM documentation checklist
    • Follow up on recorded Trust Deeds and SCR filing receipts
    • Once final title policy and recorded Trust Deed is received, review title invoice for accuracy against the Disbursement sheet, make sure endorsements are included, request accounting pay invoice if accurate.
    • Loan exception and resolution

About You


  •  Prior loan processing experience preferred.



  •  Detail oriented
  •  Ability to work independently
  •  Able to work alongside Loan Officers and others under pressure while maintaining composure and a positive attitude


WORK ENVIRONMENT: Working in an open branch atmosphere where noise and distractions can be loud at times, depending on customers visiting.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Lifting up-to 20 pounds on occassion.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
