About the Role

Join our team as a part time custodian in our Fairfield location!  The schedule involves evenings and weekends and will allow flexibility to fit your lifestyle.




This position requires a positive attitude, expressed enthusiasm and a high level of willingness to do what needs to be done to maintain and keep the building clean, safe and presentable.  You will be required to follow established procedures.   You must have the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently.


Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.  Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

About You


  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Custodial experience preferred


  • Ability to effectively follow written and oral instructions and to work independently with little supervision.
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others; work to develop and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships; represent the bank in a positive manner; maintain credibility with others.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding any information obtained during the course of performing job duties; adhere to Bank policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and security.
  • Adhere to guidelines, protocol, policies, and procedures and supervisory directives; improve and promote work quality; demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to consistently be at work during scheduled shifts.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning practices, procedures, techniques and tools needed to perform job duties.
  • Skill in the operation and/or use of tools and cleaning products used to perform job duties.
  • Flexibility in schedule to work around bank hours and special events.
  • Ability to work independently.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to perform work both indoors in a climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level and outside in sometimes inclement weather.

The employee is often required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and pull.

The employee must be able to read, understand and follow written instructions/directions, including those found on cleaning product labels.

Must be able to operate a computer terminal and keyboard. Must be able to operate routine custodial equipment, including vacuum cleaner. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: The employee is constantly required to stand and walk.  Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
