About the Role

  • Know the features & benefits for all checking accounts, savings accounts, Elite & FLEX Money Market accounts & CD’s
  • Know each Retail Product & Service offered at CCB, including limitations & fees
  • Obtain & verify applicable documentation to be able to establish a new CIF complying with CIP requirements
  • Accurately open any account with complete documentation:
  • Know how to use and set up Net Teller, Bill Pay & e-statement to be able to assist a customer
  • Be able to explain all new account disclosures associated with each retail product
  • Process a new check order for both Personal & Business accounts
  • Send Thank You cards within the required timeframes
  • Complete the follow up phone calls with the required timeframes, using the 2-2-2 guidelines
  • Actively participate in the “Tell-a-Friend” program
  • Actively participate with the Branch HPC Displays and Big Days
  • Actively refers products & services to the appropriate department
  • Build account relationships by effectively cross selling & referring additional products & services to the appropriate department
  • HPC Inventory is maintained weekly and RMS reporting is submitted within required timeframe to the HPC Coordinator
  • Follow up with Temporary Signature Cards within the 30 day required period
  • Close all account types
  • Know the Reg CC New Account Exception Hold and be able to explain this to the customer
  • Make the determination when a check is deposited into a new checking account if it will require a Reg CC Hold and instruct the CSR processing the deposit to place the hold
  • Be able to assist the customer with appropriate forms
  • Complete the necessary CIF maintenance when account relationships change
  • Accurately revise & print a new signature card after applicable changes have been made
  • Obtain images of existing signature cards from the Vertex program
  • Assist customer with Account Balancing
  • Process all transactions on a Certificate of Deposit
  • Assist with Daily Reports printed from Report Retrieval
  • Set up and maintain an adequate supply of new account packets and lists of new account numbers
  • Monthly Compliance is completed on time with 90% or better
  • Side Duties assigned are completed timely & accurately
  • Back-Up Teller when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
